
About Debbie Crowther
MA (Oxon) MSc MRTPI
With a wealth of planning experience to bring to her practice, Debbie started her professional planning career in 2002,
becoming a Chartered Town Planner at the start of 2007.
For many years, Debbie worked as a Senior Planning Officer at South Hams District Council. Debbie then worked as
Planning Team Leader with responsibility for managing the workload of 11 Development Management Officers.
Debbie studied Geography at St Catherine's College, University of Oxford, before undertaking her postgraduate studies in Town Planning at the Bartlett School, University College London.

Experience and Professionalism
Debbie started her own private planning consultancy, Devon HALO, in 2015. Her objective has always been to help people through the planning process with an honest, straightforward and realistic approach. She aims to simplify the process, provide clarity and steer the project to a successful outcome.
Having spent time both as a planning officer and as a private planning consultant, Debbie has an in depth knowledge of both sides of the planning process. This uniquely places her to be able to offer realistic, professional and ultimately successful advice.
Passionate about good design and environmental awareness, Debbie provides practical advice on steering your proposals towards creating good neighbour relations that will also satisfy all the rigours of the planning process.
